I want Katie Wilson to succeed! My hope is that she will evaluate progressive mayors, who are succeeding, obviously, especially Mayor Mamdani. She is her own person and does not seem to be an extrovert like the NYC mayor, but it is my hope that she can express the warmth and care that Mamdani does, in her own way, and include pressing problems in addition to the police. If not already following Chris Armitage of the Existentialist Republic, he is a great source of what cities and states can do in the face the fascism we must prevail against today.
