Austin Field, a King County Public Defender, serial volunteer and donor, dad, smarty-pants and all around super nice guy, did us all a huge favor and just exposed a bunch of State Supreme Court Candidates for what they are.
In this great writeup, he identified the five judges who are getting tons of conservative money and are all endorsed by the Republican party.
Here is a list of who not to vote for:
Judge Sean O’Donnell
Judge David Stevens
Scott Edwards
Dave Larson
Todd Bloom
Oof, these guys (are you surprised that they are all guys? I’m not!) are getting a ton of funding from the state’s conservatives.
Two of their notable donors:
Washington’s Steve Bannon lookalike and MAGA funder Bryan Heywood (the same guy who created and funded the big three state initiatives - vote not on trans bans, outing kids, and cutting taxes for the uber rich!).
David Zapolsky—Amazon’s top lobbyist and chief union buster and yes, one of the only buyers we know of that was part of the big buyout of The Stranger. (Tell me again that he just is just a mainstream Democrat that wants to keep independent progressive media alive. LOL.)
