Tomorrow from 11 - 8, on the Ave in Seattle's University District, a group will be hosting “The Ave for All.”
The street will be shut to cars like it is for Street Fair.
But the difference is that the living music will come with outdoor dining spots for local eateries, as well as games. So it will be less like a super crowded festival drawing people from other cities, and more like a giant block party crossed with a European pedestrian retail street.
Thank goodness today’s rain is supposed to stop soon.
This will be just a few blocks south of the Farmer’s Market (pop on down on the same trip!0, running from just south of the Light Rail/Post Office cross street (43rd) down to 42nd, where Bulldog News and Cafe on the Ave are located.
They will have live music, games, a giant chess board, outdoor dining, and more.
