As a general rule, the comments sections associated with newsletters and political commentary are, well, you know . . .
So I’ve always left that option blocked for rondezvous. But I’ve decided that it’s an easy way to get feedback, hear questions, and for this community of thousands of regular readers to engage with one another.
Thus, I’m trying an experiment—I’ve enabled comments for rondezvous subscribers (subscription is free) on my most recent six posts and posts going forward.
I hope you will engage (respectfully) with on another, and use it as an opportunity restack posts and engage with the larger community online discussing such posts.

Instead of reporting on major events affecting the city or its residents, the media continuously featured a side-show by two random cranks.
8/28: Katie Wilson just fixed commuting for seven thousand people a day.
Nine blocks of paint. $4M dollars. Transformation for thousands of people.
