After the elation and celebration of last night one downer (sorry) Chuck Schumer says he has the votes to lead the Senate. I hope the Democrats change their mind and understand thiscwasnt just anti Trump but a vote for change.
I think he didn't effectively hold the party in budget fights, he represents the old guard that hasn't distinguished itself from the Reoublicans, he was staunchly pro Isreal even while Netanyahu needed to be reigned in and he doesn't support grassroots candidates.i think we need a new energetic leader that can motivate the party and electorate. Our system needs new ideas and support working people over the well to do establishment.
